How I work

Your texts are as unique as the needs of your company or book project. That's why I offer no standard rates but will take a careful look at your text and briefing instead to offer you an individual quote. Your data and information will be treated confidentially at all times, of course.

When preparing a quote I take into consideration:

– type of text

– volume of words and complexity of the source text

– complexity of producing the target text

– time frame and deadline

Please let me know if you have any special requests. I am sure we will find the right solution for your needs.

For specialised translations, I use Trados Studio if need be. I also have working knowledge of XTM.

I'm a member of the German Federation of Translators and Interpreters (BDÜ) and the American Translators  Association (ATA).
